Why am I getting a runtime error when I try to play a game?

There are a few common reasons for this issue. We've included solutions for each reason below: Too Many Running Programs

It's possible that you are running too many programs at the same time. This can lead to a drain on your computer's resources and may be the cause of your issue.

You can close unwanted applications by using the Windows Task Manager. Here are the steps:

1) Press the CTRL-ALT-DELETE keys on your keyboard at the same time.

2) Select Start Task Manager

3) Under the Applications tab you will see all of the applications that are currently open on your computer. Locate the application(s) that you do not need to run and click on it once to highlight it.

4) Press "End Task". This will not delete the program from your computer. It will simply turn it off until you open it again.

Once you've closed out your application(s), please try again to open your game.

Update Flash

It's possible that you are not using a recent version of Adobe Flash on your computer. This program is commonly used in games. Please uninstall Adobe Flash Player. After uninstalling Flash Player, reinstall it again from the Adobe site at the link below:

You will see your registration key as well as a link for re-downloading your game. From here, you can re-install your game.
Update Video Drivers

If the video driver software for your computer is not up to date, this can prevent your game from opening successfully. Please contact your computer manufacturer for information on how to update your drivers.
