How do I use my Game Tokens?

Redeeming your tokens for the games you love is easy!

Just follow the guide below and we will have you redeeming tokens and playing your games in no time at all.

Step 1
  • Open the relevant website (Iplay) and search for the game you wish to redeem an token for. 
  • Click on the 'Play Now/Try Free' button.

Step 2
  • There will be a prompt appear and it maybe different depending upon the web browser you are using.
  • Follow the instructions in the prompt to launch the Games Manager Installer.

Step 3
  • If you already have the Games Manager installed, or once the Games Manager has finished installing, you should see the game you have chosen being downloaded within the Game Manager. This is shown by the progress bar at the top of the Game Manager screen. 
  • While the game is downloading, it can be a good idea to sign in to the Games Manager using your account details. You can do this using the 'Sign In/Log In' button located at the top of the Games Manager.

Step 4
  • During the installation of your game, you will receive offers from some of our 3rd party affiliates. You can choose to install these as well, or decline them (don't worry, your game will still install).

Step 5
  • After installation is complete, click on the 'My Games' tab
  • The game will be initially shown as 'Free Trial' - This is correct.
  • Click on the 'Buy' option, as you will need to purchase the game.
  • You will not be using cash. Rather the purchase will take place using the tokens, which are present in your account.

Step 6
  • Once you click on the 'Buy' option, and you will be brought to a screen that gives you an option to purchase a CD 
  • Please be sure to un-check the 'Please include a backup CD' option, as if you leave this checked, you will be required to pay cash for the backup CD.
  • You are of course welcome to buy a backup CD, however, please be aware that it is not possible to use tokens for this.
  • When you are ready, click on "Use Game Credits" to make the purchase.

Step 7 
  • You will now get a final confirmation screen.
  • Go ahead and click on "Place your Order" and then the purchase will be complete.

Step 8
  • Once you have made the purchase, you will be taken to a purchase confirmation screen.
  • This will confirm your order, and show you what you bought and how many credits it cost.
  • The only thing left to do now is to activate the game on your account.
  • To do this click on the 'Activate' button shown in the top right hand section of the Games Manager. 

Step 9
  • Clicking on the 'Activate' button will open a new pop up window.
  • In the box you need to enter your email address. This needs to be the same email address as used to sign in on the website.
  • Entering any other email address will cause problems and will lead to games not shown up as purchased in your account.

Step 10
  • The final steps after entering your email is to go back to the 'My Games' tab in the Games Manager
  • Look for the name of the game you just activated, and it should now show as 'Purchased'.
  • If for any reason it does not show as 'Purchased', try logging out and then logging in again.
  • If it still does not show as 'Purchased' then please open a Support Ticket with Customer Service.

And there you have it - The process by which you obtain games using tokens.

Please remember that tokens are good for 60 days after they are first issued, so be sure to use them before they expire.
